The Most Important Training of Your Life...

I recently spoke with Grand Master Southard and he mentioned that there are some people (not all) who he is currently training that #1 are not paying him the respect he well deserves, #2 taking for granted his generosity in teaching you the most important techniques that WILL save your life, and #3 half-assing the training.
If you work for the Law Enforcement in any way, as a cop, SRT swat, soldier, etc.,  YOU need this training more than the average joe because you will be put in harm's way intentionally and not by accident.

You need to understand that Grand Master isn't like many others who claim to be "Grand Masters" and have multiple schools and instructors under them.  Grand Master Southard doesn't care about money.  He cares about training you how to effectively protect yourself and those around you.  He could just send out his black belt instructors to teach you, but he doesn't.  He cares so much about the material that he makes sure it is being taught in all its purity, and we all should be damn grateful he is willing to do that because heaven knows if he was like any other "Grand Master" he would be lounging somewhere, raking cash, and building up a McDojo Empire with watered-down material that would only teach you enough to get yourself killed.

Not only that, but his system of combat is the VERY BEST there is in the entire world.  Don't believe me?  Ask questions.  He will have answers.  They will make perfect sense.  All you need to do is go in with an open mind and truly seek out what he has to teach.  Not only does Grand Master have very faithful students with incredible success stories due to His unflawed combat system, but he also works very hard to make sure his techniques continue to adapt to the changing world around us.

I know what it's like to have an open mind and seek out different styles.  I have a black belt in 4 different styles.  The only one I care about is the Southard Combat System Black Belt.  I used to have the mentality that "there is no superior martial art."  That changed when I used Southard Combat techniques in real situations.  They worked every time.  I have my share of success stories with Grand Master's teachings.  Among the most extreme, I once had a 9mm pointed at my head (in the "mini-Cuba" part of Miami), which I disarmed appropriately and saved not only my own life but the lives of two other people who were with me.

I'm not the only one.  I'd like to think I'm that special, but I'm not.  I would not be half the man I am without Grand Master.  He has changed so many lives.

You have two choices: A) invite his teachings, embrace them, live them, and apply them and become a true, modern day warrior.  Or B) you can step down gracefully and choose not to train under him.  We won't hold it against you.  Only the toughest can handle this system of combat, and it's okay if you're not that kind of person.  But if that's the case, do yourself a favor and don't disrespect a man who has trained his entire life to develop the best system of combat known to man by attending his classes or seminars and doing things half-way, nonchalantly.  His time is worth much more than that.  He would rather teach true warriors for absolutely free than babysit a bunch of ungrateful showboat narcissists for all the money in the world.

This is the most important training you'll ever get.  Don't let this pass you by.  You only go around this merry-go-round once.  But don't worry too much, if you do pass this by and you find yourself in a life-and-death situation, you won't regret not training with Grand Master...because you'll be dead and won't know what hit you.
