Our Mission

Our mission at Applied Martial Arts is twofold:

#1  To sustain a website dedicated to its students/clients in St. Anthony, Rexburg, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, and Pocatello.  To provide them with interaction, learning materials, and other information pertaining to their training.  For everyone else, Applied Martial Arts is a reference-only based website committed to teaching the layman the basic fundamentals and principles of self defense and also to introduce a variety of martial art styles for their learning, reference, and development.

#2  To further the works of Grand Master Anthony Southard and Sensei Brian Eckman into the next generation of combat education.  Not for any other reason than to assure that their great knowledge can be passed down from generation to generation, undiluted and in the way of which they would approve.
